It’s not me.

It is you.

You’re in my head,

And you ought not be.

You hold me captive,

When I should be free.

I close my eyes,

And I count to three.

You go nowhere,

But you go with me.

I know you’re there,

When you try to hide.

I know the truths,

When all you do is lie.

You’re a sly little prick,

And it’s time you…

I’m kicking you out,

From your lengthy free ride.

So long, farewell

Au revoir, bye bye.

When you see the others,

Tell them I said hi.

Tell them I’m better,

Without them in my life,

I’m more free, and contented,

But more importantly:

I survived.
