There once was a ship Called Theseus,
That through storms fell to numerous pieces,
The ship was repaired,
But town folk did all stare,
This isn’t the same ship! You cannot be serious!
Through gradual change,
‘Twas not the same
As people had once perceived.
The attachment to old,
And aversion to new,
Led many to not want to believe.
To this ship we compare,
And those around us will stare,
When we alter our behaviour or looks.
But we change when we meet
Other people or watch
TV, Films, or we read books.
