The Good.

The good hide behind the screens of your phone,

You know not who they are,

Where they have been

Where they have gone.

They appear just when needed

And leave without speaking

And put into practice

The most compassionate teaching.

To love one another,

Selflessly, without merit.

Except that, for the humble,

There’s is the kingdom of God to inherit.

An indelible mark

They leave on this world

To help every person,

Every boy and each girl.

They want in return nothing

For the good that they do.

Instead, there’s a flickering hope,

That you’ll do the same too.
